Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider
This expert-level program helps keep healthcare professionals prepared and ready to respond as they encounter life-threatening emergencies, provide basic life support, and respond to choking and other airway obstruction incidents. This course is offered via The American Heart Association BLS, American Safety and Health Institute BLS, and American Red Cross BLS. BLS for the Healthcare Provider has been approved for training for Emergency Medical Services personnel and is accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT), Florida Board of Nursing, and much more! Upon course completion, a certification card will be issued - valid for 2 years.

The program is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting, and is consistent with recommendations of the 2010 National First Aid Science Advisory Board and OSHA’s best practices for first aid training programs in the workplace. Upon course completion, a certification card will be issued - valid for 2 years.

The program satisfies the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (29 CFR 1920.1030). Upon course completion, a certification card will be issued - valid for 1 year.

Emergency Medical Responder is a 48 hour program that prepares the student to provide emergency pre-hospital assessment and care for patients of all ages with a variety of medical conditions and traumatic injuries. This course meets the requirements of the most current U.S. Department of Transportation National Standard Curriculum. Upon successful completion, you will be eligible to participate in the National Registry EMR Certification Examination process (State of Florida.). A certification card will also be issued for two years. This course can also be used to satisfy the entrance requirements for most Fire Academies in the State of Florida

Want to become a CPR Instructor? The Instructor Development Course is an option that allows non-credentialed candidates who are interested in becoming Instructors to learn the skills and knowledge necessary to become an Instructor.
